Nicole Young’s passion for fitness was ignited at the age of 10 when she began taking her mom’s workout classes. She is a proud Houston native who grew up eating a lot of chips and queso and taking a lot of ballet. Her rigorous dance training has taken her all over the world to places like Barcelona and Beijing. While studying as a dance major at the University of Oklahoma, she discovered Pilates as an incredible way to cross train for dance. Nicole is obsessed with Body Rock’s fun vibe and challenging classes and could not be more excited to teach here! She has been a dance teacher for four years and uses her knowledge of alignment and balance in her Pilates classes. She is all about keeping a positive mindset while also pushing your body to its limit with her mantra she learned from a dance teacher, “Good better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.” When she’s not at Body Rock, you can find her teaching ballet or partaking in happy hour with her friends.
